Belle da Costa Greene - Greener Pastures Part I

Belle da Costa Greene was an American librarian who developed J. P. Morgan's personal library and later became the director of the Pierpont Morgan Library. Belle's mother, Genevieve, decided that the family pass for White to ensure greater opportunities and privileges for her children. Her husband, Richard Greener, disagreed and left the marriage. Richard Greener is the author of Greener Pastures, Part II.
